Tortuguero, Costa Rica

Summer of 2007, month of July. As he had done at any other time I enrolled in a group travel, this time for Costa Rica. A heavenly destination and full of nature as they come. It occupies only 1% of the land surface and home to 5% of the natural diversity of the planet, which makes the country in the world with more natural diversity as a percentage contributed.

The first destination of my trip to Costa Rica was Tortuguero, an area which can only be reached by boat through the channels. Famous for going where giant tortoises to lay the eggs. It is an area completely filled with forest and nature with an immense diversity of animals, higuanas, toucans, crocodiles, sloths, and an endless list of them. The village of Tortuguero is a small village of indigenous people that is located between the Caribbean Sea a small river that runs parallel to the sea. You can find some heavenly beaches, where there are hardly any people, but with a fairly dangerous sea, where swimming is not recommended.

At the same seaside is the jungle that is inhabited by all animals of which I have spoken and whom you dejos some photos.

Some are so comfortable even walk at your leisure by the resorts as you can see how the higuana is swimming in the pool in the hotel where we stayed.
